Building a community has been a big part of Luckbox’s success so far and will be even more crucial when it comes to launching our product. If you are a member of our Telegram group, you are likely to have been helped by Felix Charles, one of our community managers. Here’s a little more about Felix and his role …

Generally speaking, what does your role involve?

I like to think of it as the mouth of Luckbox fans, close to the Luckbox team, and the ear of the Luckbox team, close to Luckbox fans.

Where are you based?

I am based in France, in the wonderful city of Nancy. The football club is in bad shape right now but we still can boast to be the club who brought Platini to light.

Please tell us a bit about your career / work so far

I worked for PokerStars for seven years, first as a support agent, and made my way to the poker team where I was in charge of integrity issues. I then moved along to manage Poker VIP communities operationally. I have been a successful freelance consultant in France for the past three years.

How did you get involved with Luckbox?

I have known (co-founders) Mike (Stevens) and Lars (Lien)for 10 years now. When I heard that both of them were coming together on the same project, I instantly wanted to get involved as I know their areas of expertise, I know how they work on a daily basis and their thirst for learning and innovation.

Having been a gamer in my early years, a crypto enthusiast for the last year, the project looked like it was adapted to my past as a gambler as well. Passion for video games and crypto as well as seven years’ experience in gambling, instantly looked like I could take part to that project and bring my expertise and positivity along.

What attracted you to the project and what excites you about it?

I have been managing my individual consultancy business for the past three years and was wanting something more challenging than what I could do alone.

I have been addicted to crypto and what the blockchain can do for the last year. As said above, the project ticked the right boxes in terms of passion and skills.

Then I met the team, I knew already Mike and Lars but they surrounded themselves with brilliant people, from the development team to the marketing team. It was hard for me not to be impressed by such a concentrate of talent in there area of expertise as well as in their human qualities.

Along with the fantastic project we are working on, it looked like I could learn a lot from the team itself.
